Hot Bluegrass!
Posted on August 13th, 2009 by Gary Petersen
I learned of a bluegrass artist from The Bluegrass Blog today that makes bluegrass music that gets after things pretty well. Frank Solivan II and his band, Dirty Kitchen, have two albums out, I Am A Rambler and Selfish Tears. The Bluegrass Blog has a preview link of Scorchin’ the Gravy, an instrumental song that showcases Solivan’s stellar mandolin playing. You can preview both albums on their website.
Amazon has both albums available as MP3 downloads for just $6.99 each. I’ve not made it through both yet, but everything I’ve heard so far has been top-notch and well worth the listen.
